Well as you already read today is Rick's 36th birthday. I hope men don't mind their age being advertised. He had school today so the boys I were able to make him a cake & finish up his cards. Johnnie was really helpful making the cake & even kept saying Happy Birthday daddy while he did it. 
Here is the finished product. (can you spot jojo?) 
After singing Happy Birthday (a few times since Johnnie now loves the song) we were able to eat some. Johnnie tried the frosting & of course Joey loved his piece. 
After quick baths Rick opened his present & cards.
Hope you had a nice birthday even if we weren't able to go out & celebrate. We LOVE you very much! We're off to have our adult birthday dinner now that we have put the kiddos to bed.

Great birthday pix of Rick and the boys, Cathy. Also love the ones of Johnnie helping to make 'daddy's birthday cake' -- a future chef in the making. And of course Joey with cake all over his face. They make a great pair: Johnnie cooks...and Joey eats!
We're all enjoying the pictures of your visit out here during the holidays too. There's only one problem: you're not actually in many of them! I'll have to try to do some 'photoshop' slight of hand to include the photographer in some of those family shots.
Thanks for all the effort you put into this blog, Cathy -- it's great fun to read and see how Johnnie and Joey are growing. Looking forward now for #3 to be added to the mix...
