Memorial Day Weekend of Fun

3 days at home gave me the chance to pick up my camera & capture more of our moments. It also gave us a chance to explain what this weekend is about to our boys. Usually I end up trying to just catch up on household chores that fall to the wayside during the week but knowing we had 3 days at home let me relax a little & just enjoy the kids, my camera & the moment. The whole weekend was spent outside. Star Wars battles.

39 Weeks aka 9 Months

Holly Moon is 9 months old. She is such a tiny little girl with such a huge personality. She is 27 " long (25%) & 16 lbs 7 oz (10%). She loves to smile, yell, bang on her her high chair when she wants more food, cuddle & just brightens every single one of our days. She has started eating solid foods (Puffs, crackers, mum mums & pancakes). She pulls herself up to a standing position & just today she started cruising around her crib. She actually enjoys crawling around in the grass. She absolutely loves her brothers & whenever they talk to her she giggles. Her little mohawk is now long enough to wear in a ponytail. She is quickly becoming a daddy's girl but for now she remains so in love with me, her mama. And I couldn't be happier about that. I love you little girl!

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to us. 16 years of friendship. 14 years together. 8 years of marriage. 4 kids. 2 hearts. 1 happy home.

Holly Moon is 8 Months Old

Another month. More changes. Baby Holly Moon is now 16.5 pounds & 26.5 inches long. (25% for both). She is still such a happy baby. Constantly smiling & laughing with a wide open mouth.

She moved to the base daycare center this month & even though she misses her old caregivers she happily smiles, laughs & is already making new friends. She so wants to crawl & she can get up to her hands & knees but she just rocks back & forth without really moving forward. Another few weeks & I think she will start to master the movement.

I actually think she would rather walk than crawl but for now she will just have to settle for assisted walks with grandpa.

She is starting to babble a lot. Especially mama & occasionally dada. Her two bottom middle teeth broke through. If you look really close you can see them. And because of all the teething she always has her finger in her mouth. And even with the pain she manages to smile through it. When it was time for her official 8 month photo shoot she was more interested in playing with the grass but luckily I was able to capture a few that I love.
