Kindergarten

Today was a big day for Johnnie. His first official day of Kindergarten. 5 years old & ready to tackle the school after a few photos of course.

 

He picked out his own outfit, packed his own backpack & he was ready. He was really happy to see his friend Marcelo & recognized some friends in the class line.  

Mommy & daddy both wanted to be in a photo for the big day. 

 

Once we entered the class it was like he was an old pro. Put his backpack on a chair & sat in the circle to listen to the story. Made me a hand with a heart on it & told me it was time for us to go. With fresh tears in my eyes & none in his I took one last photo of him in his room as I left him alone to start his big day.
