Lucky Number 7

Today Johnnie turned 7. How is that possible? My baby boy is truly not a baby, he's not even a little boy anymore but instead I swear I blinked & he became this BOY...a little man. He still loves football, especially the Patriots
video games, Legos, his daddy, confetti cake
chicken nuggets & melting his mama's heart with those watery looking dark eyes. His brother Jimmy adores him
& the 3 boys together is what we always imagined having 3 in 2 years would be like.
They play together all the time which means they also fight together all the time. And the way he takes care of his mini look alike sister is heartwarming. He is always checking on her, playing with her & just being a great big brother to her.
This boy is growing up into a wonderful little man but he has a great role model so I'm not surprised.

Today was opening day for soccer. Only Joey & Jimmy decided to play this year because Johnnie opted to play flag football instead so today we had 2 boys all dressed & ready to head up to the Field of Dreams for games.

And Holly is too young to play anything except with dolls but she really wanted her photo taken while I was taking pics of the boys so here she is.

1st Day for out Boys

Today is the 1st day of school for our boys...pre-school for Jimmy, Kindergarten for Joey & 1st grade for Johnnie. Jimmy was really excited to start having homework & being in the same place as his older brothers.
Joey was excited for his first real day of school but he wasn't happy about
us having to leave him there after he made me a kissing hand. That explains why there's no smile in the photo with his mama.

Johnnie on the other hand was excited to start school. He missed his friends & was excited to get back to them. He didn't miss the homework but he does love to learn & play with his friends. With 3 boys in school now we are going to be a busy house but it should interesting & fun.

The last of the terrible 2s

The age of 2 is full of discovery. Full of NOOOOOO! Full of kisses & cuddles. And full of cuteness. Especially when it comes to this little one. The boys were tame in every aspect compared to Holly. She is definite opinions about EVERYTHING. She cares about what she is wearing & how you do her hair. She loves to give kisses & hugs but she is definitely the first to tell you no when she wants her space. She is a mama's girl & only wants me to put her to bed but she saves all her best kisses for her daddy. Happy 2nd Birthday Holly Moon!

Summer Fun

Every summer we like to have at least one big bbq with our friends. We get a water slide for all the kiddos to play on

beers for the dads (little tiny ones in this case)
& we just enjoy watching our kids have a good day on the trampoline & playing in the sun.

Joey's Pre-K Graduation

Joey has been in a pre-K program prepping for Kindergarten for the last year. It was a program at the daycare center where he started as a baby. He spent 3 years with the caregivers at this facility. He will miss everyone there, especially his teacher Ms. DJ & his girlfriend, Mia

but he's ready to move on to big boy school.  I couldn't be more proud of him if I tried.
I love you Joey. Good luck!

Happy Father's Day

Daddy's day is such a big deal in our house because most father's don't get enough credit when it comes to taking care of the kids.On this Sunday afternoon, we grilled out to celebrate both the kiddos' daddy & grandpa. Rick does so much for our children. He plays with them, teaches them things like how to ride bikes & make baskets, he helps coach their sports teams, he bathes them & he puts them to bed almost EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT! Having 4 children is a lot of work but being able to share it with this guy makes it all worth it.

And let's not forget that he is the one who is teaching our kids to be goofy.
My sisters were here that day as well since we were celebrating our dad who refused photos. So instead we took the opportunity to capture a photo with this little bug.

Closing Day

A season of baseball wouldn't be complete without closing day. It's a day to picnic, run around, shoot water guns, get trophies, take pictures & just have a great time.
As always the coaches are great & so is the team mama who happens to be a good friend of mine which always makes game days more fun.
